Kids love colouring and kids love video games, so what could be more perfect than a DS title that combines the best of both worlds?
Crayola Treasure Adventures isn't a title that'll set the world ablaze, in a frenzy of eager players chomping at the bit for a copy. It IS however, a fantastic title to keep the little ones busy colouring without the mess! The most important aspect of the game, is that it's one of very few titles that are not only safe but endearing to the little ones. After all, not all of us agree with letting a small child playing GTA or performing headshots in Counter Strike do we?
Comprising of a number of exotic locations, players will meet various NPCs throughout the game that help and mould the experience. Within these locations various challenges, funky mini games and of course, colouring in is all part and parcel of the game. Keeping the gamer of the younger variety glued to it for hours! Be warned though, if they're anything like my son they'll constantly be giving you examples of their artistic skills!
I'm not judging this as a traditional game, as obviously it's aimed at the younger side of the market but I do feel that for children it's an absolutely cracking little title. Perfect for those long journeys when the kids have nothing to do or just to casually play. Alfie (my son) was absolutely delighted with the title but devasted once he'd completed it. So Ignition, we want more...it'll also give me a few more hours peace!
Crayola Treasure Adventures is a game that small children will love and cherish.
