Football Manager can improve your love life?!
Posted on November 5th, 2007 at 8:50pm by EripmaVContrary to popular belief, Football Manager™ does not cause relationships to fail as a result of players becoming addicted but in fact, could help to improve your sex life.
According to research discovered by Sports Interactive and SEGA, between 1995 and 2005 birth rates have been at their highest in July – exactly nine months after Football Manager™ is released each year. In July 2005 there were 56,500 live births, the second highest monthly total for the year. This suggests that instead of the game causing rifts between couples, they are actually having more sex around the time the game is released.
Dr Pam Spurr, well-known relationship psychologist and sex expert, looked into why it could be that Football Manager™ seems to give couples a boost in the bedroom.
“There are a number of key reasons why Football Manager may actually enhance a couple's sex-life. The excitement and adrenaline generated by playing FM boosts the player's mood leading to more action in the bedroom! However if a couple's argued over how much he's been playing this could lead to passionate make-up sex. Also if he's a keen player they may look for times to slip in a quick sex session between matches."
