The coolest mouse ever!
Posted on February 25th, 2008 at 8:28pm by EripmaVSydney, Australia – 5th February 2008 - Cyber Sport, producer of quality PC
peripherals, is pleased to announce the launch of the latest innovation in interface
control with the upcoming release of the Orbita; the world’s first wireless 3-axis
mouse combining rotation or 'jog wheel' input with normal mouse control, allowing
for an unprecedented level of control.
Following the recent merger with PC peripheral producer Flexiglow Hong Kong, Cyber Sport
is once again pushing the boundaries of PC peripheral technology with the release of its new
Orbita 3D mouse. Cyber Sport acquired the technology and the skills resources behind the
patented Electromagnetic Orientation technology late last year and will release the Orbita in
May 2008 for a RRP of €94.
The Orbita mouse is a true 3D mouse; in addition to working on a desktop or mouse pad just
like a normal mouse, the Orbita can be spun laterally and manipulated on all axes for
superior control. A built in compass calibrates movements in 3 dimensions to allow true 3D
control in any 3D applications with the ability to simultaneously rotate, spin and flip objects.
In addition, it serves as a jog control for audio/video programs or simply a fluid scrolling
device for general applications.
The Orbita Mouse is the perfect input peripheral for a wide array of diverse users; for
gamers, engineers, designers, architects, digital artists, game designers, music and video
producers and editors, animators and DJs alike, the Orbita offers a new dimension in virtual
navigation. Whatever the use, the Orbita is perfect for advanced interface manipulation.
The Orbita mouse software grants total versatility and flexibility of use. All buttons and axes
can be mapped to a wide range of mouse, keyboard, multi-media and multi-axis controls.
Individual sensitivity and direction controls can be placed on all axis mappings. Profiles can
be saved, loaded and shared to suit individual settings or popular software applications.
